Elaborately engraved New Testament title page, historiated initial letters at the opening chapter of each book together with other devices, Two books of 'Alphabet directions to common places' at the rear printed by Christopher Barker, 1578. Text with annotated marginal references. Some sporadic marginal manuscript notes. A complete set of what appear to be original clasps. Lacking OT title page. The two 'Alphabet' books closely cropped at the top margin in places with some loss of text. Otherwise a relatively clean tight copy.
