Our Catering sales comprise of both unused and used equipment which comes from a variety of vendors including Administrators and Liquidators, Company Directors ceasing trade and modernising, Dealers and Private Individuals.

One important difference between an auction and a retail shop is that all goods are sold as seen. Lots could have faults or missing parts so it is very important that you carefully inspect items you are interested in buying before the sale takes place. There are no guarantees given when buying at auction. The absence of a condition report does not constitute a guarantee.

A buyers’ premium and online fee charged at 20.5% plus VAT will be added to the bid price of each lot.

VAT will be added to the bid price and buyers’ premium on all lots. Purchasers will be provided with a VAT invoice made out to the registered bidder following completion of the sale.

Items not collected by this time will be treated as abandoned and disposed of as the auctioneer sees fit.

Dismantling, loading and removal is the responsibility of the buyer. All lots are at the buyer’s risk from the fall of the hammer.

Attention is drawn to the Auctioneers Conditions of Sale in this catalogue and posted on the premises.

In particular it is emphasised that all accounts must be settled on the day of sale. Sale currency is GBP.

• Cash
• Debit card (in person at one of our auction centres – not available on site)
• Direct bank transfer

We do not accept payments by credit card or any card payments over the telephone.

Please quote both the auction number and your invoice number as reference. Failure to do so may delay goods being released. Please be aware that clients making international transfers will be liable for any bank imposed charges.

In completing the online bidder registration and providing your payment card details you:

(i) confirm that you are authorised to provide these credit card details to the auctioneer and have sufficient funds available to complete the transaction.

(ii) agree to abide by the auctioneer’s conditions of sale and special terms and conditions as stated in these particulars and on the online bidding platform.

(iii) agree to make payment via the methods and timescales stated above at the completion of the auction and authorise the auctioneer that on failing to do so the credit/debit card given may be charged in part or full payment, including all fees, for items successfully purchased.

WE DO NOT PACK OR POST LOTS – If you will not be collecting yourself, ensure that your courier can adhere to the collection dates/times and are able to collect your lots in the condition that they are pictured.
